Taken from internet

This picture about a native mexican woman protesting against violence they suffer in their family circle mainly, due to alcoholism, drugs, poverty, and the millenarium ideology in Mexico about women rights,
Its good to see they are not quite anymore!

A dark and difficult moment....

In my fallen night I wish I could go back to my scence, I wish one more time I could get rid of this human suit, that hurts so baddly, I wonder where is the sweetness in this world and the goodness of the human spirit, I wonder why can we not just say... today I want to disapear, tonight I would like to go back to the stars..

When I feel weak...

I go up north where the east and west come together but they never touch, just like we never touch...then I feel at home
This is a really great band from Montreal,
they have an excelent mixture of nature sounds and sort of native american rithyms, their style is called sub pop or new barroque in music,
if you like indie this is a new band that youll love!

I recommend the song
Ill believe in anything
from apologies to queen Mary album which you can hear in my playlist

Cheers!

I love you brother/lover
I love you as you are...
be happy dearest
travel, fly, drive to
where your happiness wait...
please dont worry
I am with you always
you will always find me there
just look behing
and youll find my eyes
just look behind
and youll find my hands...

Great journy what it if you have some spare time ;)

This morining...

This morning I walked I went for a walk to the amersee it was so beautiful and I discover something striking....beuaty hurted me so much that it made cry!
Why is that, why is it that beutiful things, good things hurt so much?
Is the same feeling like when you are traveling in the subway and a stranger touches you accidentally, it also hurst, I know coz I have watch myself and others withdrawing instantly their hands from the strangers hand and yet is also a beutiful act to touch other human been,
maybe those who put their hand away have a skin disease and maybe I have a visual disease....I hope someday we can all heal...

This evening...

This evening I have been thinking about magic, about the possibility of magic, do you think magic exists? is it possible to change things just by wishing to provocate a change? is it possible to know the future?
Is it possible that we call magic to all the forces/phenomena that we dont understand?
I dont know, but I have to say that sometimes I remember what my methatphysics teacher once said if you want something good to happen you must to visualized it first in your mind and then you have to fill this moment with colorful clouds, then if you truly believe on it, it will happen,
So this evening I am feeling my world and your world with colorful clouds and this evening in our dreams we will be happy and perhaps tomorrow too
Sweet dreams

Angel-A

This evening I am enjoying the pleasures of our hipercommunicated yet isolated society, the wonderful youtube.com can be a good place to find some lots in time movies,
This evening I am doing Angel-A, a film by Luc Bessondespite being in black & white, it's a fantastic morality tale about a down-on-his-luck guy who thinks he meets his lucky ticket but eventually discovers she is helping him get on the right track. It's not overflowing with visuals, besides the gorgeous streets of Paris, instead it focuses on the story and morals at hand,
http://www.youtube.com/user/somme1915
you can find this movie in somme1915 youtube page,
if you have the time enjoy this movie, specially if you like french movies, this is quite graceful!

Calder used to collect little pieces of objects when he was on the street, at the end of his lide he had transformed his house in a warehouse with an infinite number of pieces in progress
Personally I admire Calders esthetics and the reminiscence of his childhood naiveness which he reflected in his work, he had an egineering mid and and an artist soul,
Enjoy!

Little by little Calder explored new techniques to create magnificent pieces, he went from really small intrincated pieces to monumental pieces, like the one we see here, always looking to innovate in his technique

Calder invented mobiles

Calder achieved his masterpieces taking advantage of his talents in exact sciences, He started small, building toys which he used in his very own miniture circus in Paris,
His piece a universe which we can see in this picture, impressed Albert Einstein so much that he stayed till the end of the day in the museum and said, I could stay all day looking at this piece
He was famour for attending parties from some prominent artists in Paris and making their portrait out of wire which he always carried in his pockets

Once Calder decided to persue his passion he joined the Art students league in NY and later he moved to Paris searching inspiration and to perfectionate his techniques where we can observed the phusion between engineering, esthetics and a little bit of Calders internal child

Ladys and gentleman I am proud to present: Alexander Calder

Calder is one of the most important contemporary american sculptors, born in Penn on July 22, 1898
Originally he wanted to study mechanical engineering, he not only explored sculpting but also, painting and producing toys and art from wires, wires were originally what inspired him to leave his engeneering career to persue his true passion, her is what he said in his bio:
It was early one morning on a calm sea, off Guatemala, when over my couch — a coil of rope — I saw the beginning of a fiery red sunrise on one side and the moon looking like a silver coin on the other.

There is nothing better than a little animation from Yuriy Norshteyen
Yuri Norshtein (born September 15, 1941) is an award-winning Russian animator best known for his animated shorts, Hedgehog in the Fog and Tale of Tales. Since 1981 he has been working on a feature film called The Overcoat, based on the short story by Nikolai Gogol of the same name
I remember watching this in a Mexican art tv channel when I was 9 years old!
Enjoy!

Morning, morning!

This morning was snowing,
when I see the snow I think about the perfect shapes of the snow flakes,
they are like little juwels,
a gift from heaven to remind us, slow down, take a look around, this is today,
I think that maybe if I could think harder about my love I could perhaps send him my thoughts traped into the snow flakes, blow them up north to the place where the east and west becomes one and the sky is so close to the celestial window,
like I feel close to him,
like we become one from east and one from west

Compañera
usted sabe
puede contar
conmigo
no hasta dos
o hasta diez
sino contar
conmigo

si alguna vez
advierte
que la miro a los ojos
y una veta de amor
reconoce en los míos
no alerte sus fusiles
ni piense qué delirio
a pesar de la veta
o tal vez porque existe
usted puede contar
conmigo

si otras veces
me encuentra
huraño sin motivo
no piense qué flojera
igual puede contar
conmigo

pero hagamos un trato
yo quisiera contar
con usted

es tan lindo
saber que usted existe
uno se siente vivo
y cuando digo esto
quiero decir contar
aunque sea hasta dos
aunque sea hasta cinco
no ya para que acuda
presurosa en mi auxilio
sino para saber
a ciencia cierta
que usted sabe que puede
contar conmigo.
Mario Benedetti

Vom Meere strahlt;
In Quelle malt.
Der staub sich hebt;
